Sam, a multi-disciplined theatre-maker, comedian, and producer from Manchester, UK, is a new and vibrant force in the arts scene.

His creative endeavours candidly explore poignant social themes, particularly LGBTQ+ rights and mental health awareness.

Debuting to acclaim, his solo theatre production, “BI-TOPIA” directed by award-winning Rikki Beadle-Blair, premiered at Waterside in Manchester in 2023. Garnering stellar reviews, including a 5 stars from Reviews Hub and Quays News.
The show currently on a substantial tour that begun in February earlier this year.

Beyond the stage, Sam’s innovative work shines through an interactive art installation, also titled “BI-TOPIA.” This captivating installation invites viewers into a communal space, encouraging them to add their own labels to the piece, fostering an imaginative reconstruction of a world in disarray through collective participation, It not only invites viewer participation but also allows them to engage with others’ contributions. The installation has acquired enthusiastic praise from both commissioners and viewers, showcasing Sam’s ability to provoke meaningful dialogue through art.

Sam’s journey into the arts began following a successful run as a Broadcast Journalist straight after leaving education, working full-time across various esteemed radio companies in the North-West of England, including stints at BBC, Bauer, and Wireless.
 Transitioning to performance, he has showcased his comedic talent at renowned platforms like the Edinburgh Festival, BBC Lancashire, and Hot Water Comedy Club, sealing the runner-up spot at the prestigious Frog & Bucket’s Beat the Frog competition.

An integral part of Sam’s work involves serving as a creative facilitator, collaborating with prestigious organisations such as The Lowry and The National Theatre. Through these partnerships, he passionately engages with diverse community groups, fostering confidence, and championing LGBTQ+ pride through performance arts.

Moreover, Sam’s commitment to advocacy shines through his role as the head of Media & Communications for Rainbow Devils, Manchester United’s officially recognized LGBT supporter’s group. He proudly lends his voice against discrimination, making impactful appearances on major media outlets like BBC, Sky News, ITV, and LBC.




Expanding his reach, Sam has embarked on a compelling new venture— a conversational Mental Health Podcast titled “What’s Your Anchor?” This insightful podcast mirrors the themes of his theatre work, delving into candid discussions with guests about mental health struggles and the anchors that keep them grounded during life’s challenges.

With an unwavering dedication to impactful storytelling, social advocacy, and community engagement, Sam has been celebrated as ‘one of the most exciting new voices in the arts and social spheres’.
