Sam is a theatre-maker and producer from Manchester, UK. His work predominantly explores poignant social themes, particularly LGBTQ+ rights and mental health awareness.

His debut play, “BI-TOPIA”, was a solo production, directed by award-winning Rikki Beadle-Blair and produced by Emmerson & Ward Productions. It premiered at Waterside in Manchester in 2023, before going on three national tours spanning two years, including Glastonbury Festival and Edinburgh Fringe where it was quoted as one of the ‘shows of the festival’ by The Stage.

Sam’s follow-up play, ‘Daddy’s First Gay Date’, was a two-act comedy play set in Chorley. It completed a full off-west-end run in London in November 2025, earning great reviews including 6 FTA nominations.

Sam’s journey into the arts began following a successful run as a Broadcast Journalist, working full-time across various radio companies in the North-West of England, including stints at BBC, Bauer, and Wireless.

An integral part of Sam’s work involves serving as a creative facilitator, collaborating with prestigious organisations such as The Lowry and The National Theatre. Through these partnerships, he passionately engages with diverse community groups, fostering confidence, and championing LGBTQ+ pride through performance arts.

Sam is also a committee member for Rainbow Devils (Manchester United’s officially recognized LGBT supporter’s group), where he predominantly oversees Media & Communications for the group.
